TCPA Violations

If you have had multiple collection calls to your cell phone from the CBE Group collection agency for a debt that you do not even owe, then you are not alone.

We have obtained evidence that the CBE Group has violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) on multiple occasions using an their auto dialer system. This is illegal and our Congress enacted laws to protect you from auto dialed calls from both debt collection agencies and telemarketers.

Sometimes, it’s very difficult to get your number removed once it has been imported into an automated dialer system. This can be very aggravating when these obnoxious collection calls continue, despite your calling CBE and telling them that they have the wrong number. Any calls made to your cell phone after you have told them to stop calling are punishable by $1,500.00 per call. It’s best to send them a letter as well as making oral requests that they stop calling your cell phone.

If a collection agency like CBE Group has mistaken you for someone who owes a debt and they robo dial and / or leave artificial voice messages, you have an open and shut case. It’s just a matter of how much money they owe for violating the TCPA.

Even if you owe debt, collectors may not robo dial your cell phone unless you gave the original creditor permission or you have an established business relationship. However, you can always revoke consent at any time and stop the robo dialer calls and artificial voice messages immediately. If they continue to call your cell phone after you revoke consent, the calls are penalized by $1,500.00 per call.

CBE Group collection agency is operating from an address of 1309 TECHNOLOGY PARKWAY, CEDAR FALLS, IOWA 50613.
